Various info that Mordecai's gathered while being in Penance.

Mordecai remembers that angels are more trouble than they’re worth. They come down and act like it’s some kind of gift that they’re around, even though everyone knows they’re just spying. And if you ever call them out on it, they just throw on the Holy act and next thing you know, every decent demon within a twenty-foot radius has to worry about their eyes melting. It’s disgusting. Never trust an angel.

Last night, Mordecai had an awful time sleeping. It was a fitful rest, and until a vision erupts in a blinding moment of migraine-inducing agony:
Fire rains from the sky. Lucifer sits upon his steed in his golden armor, red trident held high. He's laughing as screams of agony fill the air, The Veiled Order have fallen. Their skin melt from their bones as the fire hits them. They crawl on the ground towards Lucifer and his demons watch on.

"Please, Lord," one of the burning figures begs. "Please. Why did you forsake us? Lord, please--"

"You chose this," Lucifer starts. "When you followed Asmodeus and tried to take my kingdom!"

There are more sobs. "You abandoned us first! You abandoned our mission!"
